Frequently asked questions

The short version of how bidding, checkout timing, seller approval, BOX NOW shipping, and disputes work on Auctaro.

How does bidding work?
Place a bid on any live auction. If you are the highest bidder when the auction ends and no higher max bid overtakes you, you win the auction.
What happens if someone bids in the last two minutes?
The auction is automatically extended by two minutes. That keeps the ending fair and gives other bidders time to respond.
What happens after I win an auction?
You complete checkout in Auctaro, choose your BOX NOW locker if required, and pay before the deadline shown in your order flow.
Why can’t every user sell immediately?
Auctaro starts with manual seller approval so launch inventory stays trustworthy. Approved sellers must still complete payout onboarding before listing is enabled.
What should I do if an order has a problem?
Use the order issue flow if something goes wrong after payment or shipping. That opens a dispute for admin review and can keep payout on hold until the case is resolved.
